Siho Chang is a New York based artist and photographer. Chang’s work mainly focuses on identity of the individual and cultural perception regarding food issues. Using large-scale self-portrait photos, Chang presents a factual representation of information about identity by experimenting visually and focusing on Eastern theories and philosophies. Currently, he is working on projects regarding regional customs within cultural and political circumstances. His work has been exhibited both in New York City and internationally, including the most recent shows at Photoville in Brooklyn, New York, Pingyao International Photography Festival in China, and the State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
